The Design Process

This post is being started so I can attach an image to an online questionaire but thought it might also help with my Literature review. What is the first image you think of when you consider the term design process?

I consider the simple school taught bubbles above with a feedback loop. However the theories now vary widely from this simple diagram, including the complicated double diamond approach, recommended by the Design Council of all people.
